To get an idea about what temporary promotions Goalwin sometimes offers, we keep track of the old promotions that are not valid any more.

February 2010 - Goalwin $10000 race

During February, Goalwin will give away $10000 in their player points races. All player points collected during February count towards this race. Prize structure:
  • place 1: $2500
  • place 2: $1800
  • place 3: $1000
  • place 4: $800
  • place 5: $600
  • place 6: $500
  • place 7 - 8: $400
  • place 9 - 10: $300
  • place 11 - 14: $200
  • place 15 - 20: $100
Players base is not that large at goalwin. If you can collect 10000 player points, you will normally get into the top 20. January 1st place had just over 20000 player points, second place was below 20000 player points.

2009 - $150 daily freeroll

Every day, Goalwin runs a $150 freeroll for all their players.

July-August - $5000 summer freeroll

During the summer, Goalwin will run extra freerolls for a total value of $5000. Starting from the 5th of July, there will be a $500 special freeroll every fifth day. Tournament schedule:

  • $500 freeroll 15th of july, 20:00 CET
  • $500 freeroll 20th of july, 20:00 CET

July-August - Summer Races

Goalwin will run four races during July and August. There will be two tournament races where goalwin will give away $2500 for each race. The other two races are cash games races where goalwin will set a prizepool of $10000 for each race. One tournament race and one cash games race will run from 1st to 31st July. The other two races run from 1st to 30st August.

August 2009 - Hand Race

In August, there will be a cash game hands race whit a total prize pool of $60000. Your place in the race depends on the amount of your hands from real money cash games, between the 1st of August 00.00 EST and 31st of August 23.59 EST. So it does not matter if you are playing on high stakes or micro stakes, it is the amount of hands that count. The 2000 top players will get their chance to get their share of the $60000 prize pool.

The prizes are given away in tournament tickets. If you rank in the top 2000, you get a tournament ticket to a $15000 freeroll. This higher you rank, the less participants there will be in the tournament you get the ticket for.
  • Place 1 to 150: entry to a $15000 freeroll for 150 players
  • Place 151 to 500: entry to a $15000 freeroll for 350 players
  • Place 501 to 1000: entry to a $15000 freeroll for 500 players
  • Place 1001 to 2000: entry to a $15000 freeroll for 1000 players
