To get an idea about what temporary promotions Betsafe sometimes offers, we keep track of the old promotions that are not valid any more.

February 2010 - Betsafe $100000 + $10000 race

During February, Betsafe will give away $100000 in their races. The Betsafe races are divided into two races depending on you play: cash games or tournaments. In the cash game race the top 300 players get paid and in the tournament race the top 200 players get paid.

Just like the previous month, Betsafe adds 4 Gumball 3000 packages on top of the race. The packages worth $2500 per package, adding an extra $10000 to the race. All players that make it into a race spot (top 300 for cash race, top 200 for tournament race) have the chance to win one of four Gumball 3000 packages. All players that get into a race spot will receive an invite to a tournament that will be played the 6th of February at 20:45 CET where the four Gumball 3000 packages can be won.

The Stockholm Gumball 3000 package includes $1000 in travel and pocket money, 2 nights (Sunday 2nd of May - Tuesday 4th of May) accommodation at Elite Hotel Stockholm Plaza, Gumball poker tournament with fantastic prizes, Entrants to the big Gumball 3000 party and much more. The package value is estimated to $2500.

February 2010 - Betsafe Gumball 3000 Bonus Freerolls

During February, Betsafe will give away $25000 through Gumball Bonus Freerolls.

Each day at 14:00, 16:00, 18:00, 20:00 and 22:00 CET there will be a Gumball bonus freeroll with $160 in the prize pool to the top 10 players. As well as winning bonus cash the winner of each tournament will be invited to a monthly final where a Gumball 3000 package valued at $2500 can be won.

In total there will be 140 Gumball Bonus Freeroll tournaments played in February.

The bonus money you can win in these freerolls only need 4 player points per dollar to be cleared. For example, if you win $10 you will only need to collect 40 player points and then the $10 will automatically be paid to your poker account. These 4x bonuses never expire so you can queue up an unlimited amount of bonuses.

January 2010 - Betsafe New Depositors freerolls

Betsafe is giving all new players the chance to win a Gumball 3000 package. All new real money players in January will be invited to play at least one free tournament where they can win a Gumball 3000 package. The more you play the more chances of winning a Gumball 3000 package you get:
  • Earn 1 Player Point during January and you get an invite to one freeroll where you can win a Gumball 3000 package.
  • Earn 10 Player Point during January and you get an invite to a second freeroll where you can win a Gumball 3000 package.
  • Earn 100 Player Point during January and you get an invite to a third freeroll where you can win a Gumball 3000 package.

January 2010 - Betsafe $100000 + $10000 race

During January, Betsafe is again giving away $100000 in their races. The January races are divided into two races depending on if you play mostly cash games or tournaments. In the cash game race the top 300 players get paid and in the tournament race the top 200 players get paid.

On top of the race, Betsafe also gives away 4 Gumball 3000 packages, worth $2500 per package for an extra $10000. All players that make it into a race spot (top 300 for cash race, top 200 for tournament race) have the chance to win one of four Gumball 3000 packages. All players that get into a race spot will receive an invite to a tournament that will be played the 6th of February at 20:45 CET where the four Gumball 3000 packages can be won.

December 2009 - Betsafe Christmas Promotions

Keep an eye open for special daily poker Christmas promotions on the 4th, 8th, 10th, 16th, 21st and 24th of December. The daily promotion of the day will be published in poker news on the poker home page of Betsafe.

December 2009 - Bonus Freeroll Mania

October 2009 - Bonus Freeroll Challenge

During October, Betsafe will run a wider range of bonus freeroll tournaments. In these bonus freerolls, you won't win cash, but instead you can win new poker bonuses. These bonuses are cleared at an 4 Player Point per bonus dollar clearing rate. They also have no expiry date. There will be 5 different tournaments and 4 different setup, so a total of 20 bonus freeroll tournaments. The total value of these october freerolls is $12500.
  • Week 1 of October: $500 prize pool in daily regular tournaments
  • Week 2 of October: $500 prize pool in daily shorthanded tournaments
  • Week 3 of October: $500 prize pool in daily 4-handed tournaments
  • Week 4 of October: $1000 prize pool in daily deep stack tournaments

October 2009 - Betsafe show-me-the-money race

During October, Betsafe is giving away $100000 in their races. There will be one cash race and one tournament race and in each race the top 200 players will be rewarded with cash.

Players that finish in place 50, 100 and 150 receive an extra $500 if they send a mail to support with "show me the money!" in it.

September 2009 - $90000 races

Just as the two previous months, Betsafe offers hand races to win a $2500 riga package. You can win the packages in 2 player point races: one race for cash players and one race for tournament players. Races run between 1st of September until the 30th of September 2009.

The prizes are a mix of cash and Rigged in Riga tickets. In total, Betsafe is going to give away an amazing 27 Rigged in Riga packages worth $2500 and over $25000 in cash.

The Rigged in Riga package includes 2 nights' accommodation on Reval Hotel Elisabeth. The rooms are double rooms and thereby making it possible to invite a friend on the trip. It also includes flight, transport, buy in to a $1000 NLHE tourney, welcome party, entrance to nightclubs, and much more. Betsafe take care of flights, hotel and tournament buy in.

September 2009 - Riga satellite freerolls

Betsafe organizes three freerolls where you can win a ticket to a satellite tournament for the riga tournament. The satelite tournaments are held at 20:00 CET on the 3rd, 10th and 17th of September. Every Tuesday before the live event final, a freerolls will be played at 19:00 CET:

August & September 2009 - Betsafe Mad Monday added tournaments

August 2009 - Riga race continued

A new live event in Riga is planned and Betsafe is going to continue to give away packages worth $2500 for this event. You can win the $2500 worth packages in the 2 player point races: one race for cash players and one race for tournament players. Races run between 1st of August until the 31st of August 2009.

First ten players in the cash race and first five players from the tournament race receive the riga event ticket. Lower places down to 200 in the cash race and 100 in the tournament race are rewarded with qualifier tickets. In addition to the ticket (either live event ticket or qualifier), you will also receive a cash prize that depends on your final position in the race. Total value of these august races: $90000.

The Rigged in Riga package includes 2 nights' accommodation on Reval Hotel Elisabeth. The rooms are double rooms and thereby making it possible to invite a friend on the trip. August 2009 - Hand Race

In August, there will be a cash game hands race whit a total prize pool of $60000. Your place in the race depends on the amount of your hands from real money cash games, between the 1st of August 00.00 EST and 31st of August 23.59 EST. So it does not matter if you are playing on high stakes or micro stakes, it is the amount of hands that count. The 2000 top players will get their chance to get their share of the $60000 prize pool.

The prizes are given away in tournament tickets. If you rank in the top 2000, you get a tournament ticket to a $15000 freeroll. This higher you rank, the less participants there will be in the tournament you get the ticket for.
  • Place 1 to 150: entry to a $15000 freeroll for 150 players
  • Place 151 to 500: entry to a $15000 freeroll for 350 players
  • Place 501 to 1000: entry to a $15000 freeroll for 500 players
  • Place 1001 to 2000: entry to a $15000 freeroll for 1000 players

July 2009 - 4x Riga races

A new live event in Riga is planned and Betsafe gives away 22 Rigged in Riga packages in July. You can win the $2500 worth packages in the 4 player point races of July.

The races are divided between cashgame and SNG/MTT players and also each race will only run for half a month. The first 2 runs between 1st-15th July 2009 and the last 2 runs between 16th-31th July 2009.

July 2009 - Bonus Freeroll Bonanza

During every day of July, Betsafe will be running bonus freerolls. In these freerolls, you won't win cash, but instead you can win new poker bonuses. These bonuses are cleared at an 4 Player Point per bonus dollar clearing rate. They also have no expiry date.

June 2009 - Turbo Boost Race

Just as in may, Betsafe has ran two player points races worth a whopping $100000. In June, all the prizes are in cash. Betsafe gives away a total of $65000 to the top 150 cash game players and $35000 to the top 75 tournament players. Please note that only points earned in cash games will count towards the cash game race and only points earned in tournaments will count towards the tournament race. Players who increase their number of accumulated points from May to June can increase their race winnings with up to 50%.

June 2009 - Loyalty Freerolls

Betsafe gives their active customers something extra: Betsafe gives away $5000 in freeroll prizes to their active players. You must earn an amount of player points in a certain period and then you will be able to enter the freeroll.
Required player points vary from 5 player points in 10 days to 100 player points in one month.
